Stock Program.


Each summer, approximately 30 students 16 to 21 years of age take a 7 week program to give them the skills to become professional actors. The students spend 8 or 9 hours a day on and off stage learning all facets of the craft. The students will provide a brief performance for us.
Murray Chase, Director and Sandy Davidson, Educational Director will give an overview of the program. A donation to the Summer Stock Program will be presented to be used towards the $350 tuition. A portion of the price of today’s luncheon will go towards this donation.

Haul Out Party

We’re getting ready to shutdown, clean-up and fix-
up. The Chef is cleaning out the refrig and pantry
and will throw it all in a pot to create his famous soups.
A variety of famous soups, salad, and loaves of bread you slice yourself will serve as our Buffet Bar
and topped off with Dump Cake and
Ice Cream for dessert.
The price is $15.50++pp
You will find all this nestled in between
the scaffolding and ladders.

So put on your painter pants, construction belts and pull up a paint bucket seat while you enjoy the music of DJ Tony and have some Karaoke fun.

KEY WEST TRIP
September 13-16

A trip to Key West is being planned during the Club’s shutdown on September 13-16. If you wish to go on the Key West Express, a special rate of $99.00 pp round trip including free parking has been secured. The La Conche Hotel (Crown Plaza) on Duval Street will also offer a special group rate of $139+ tax per night.

The Key West Express leaves daily in the AM from Ft. Myers and returns every PM. Or you may wish to go by car or take your own boat. You can choose to spend as many nights as you wish under these special rates.

Our travel agent, Nancy Mason from GM Travel will meet with all interested parties on August 4th at 5:30 in the Tiki Bar area. She will answer any questions you might have and will take your reservations. If you cannot make the meeting you can call her
at 485-3358.

Shut-down is (almost) over. All the fix it,
paint it, replace it and clean it is done and
we can’t wait to “get it going again”.
Soooooooooo...
Haul-in your favorite “finger food” on a
serving tray and listen to the sounds of
Clement White while catching up with VYC friends.
The Tiki Bar will be open to serve your
favorite beverages.
